Waar het laagje talg op de huid er normaal gezien voor zorgt dat de huid soepel blijft, kan dit in de wintermaanden de grote contrasten in luchtvochtigheid niet altijd bijbenen. Hierdoor kan de huid uitgedroogd raken, wat zich uit in een schilferige of trekkende huid. Wat kan ja hieraan doen? Door simpelweg een bakje water naast de verwarming te zetten, bijvoorbeeld. Zo blijft de luchtvochtigheid in huis op pijl. Daarnaast kun je de huid extra ondersteunen door dode huidcellen te verwijderen door middel van een milde scrub. Gebruik daarnaast geen agressievere verzorgingsproducten die alcohol of parfum bevatten.
